Vator Reports - Episode 3
Peter Thiel and I talk about what's happening across the world of video. This show kicks off the launch of Vator.tv, possibly this week. We already have beta users testing our new service, which is still in stealth mode. If you want to get onto the site, just email launch@vator.tv.
It has been very exciting watching the MyLocator.com video count triple in 30 days from approx 400-over 1300 views. I put a link to the video on the mylocator.com website. Around the same time my contest entry was profiled on ValleyWag.com. Than all of a sudden the views shot up. I hope everyone that viewed got as many laughs as I did creating it. I was astonished when I googled mylocator.com and seen a article at ValleyWag.com criticing my Vator.tv contest entry. The valleywag users got a few laughs on me, I dont mind:). Tim Draper wanted contest entrants to have fun with there pitches. All the ad and social company acquisitions lately sooner or later someone is gonna smell my coffee. There is only so much premium vertical niche market location based ad inventory available. Also all ads can be eliminated with ad blocker software. In the future a consumer will only be advertised to when they request it. Social Vertical community platforms will dominate advertising. SocialAdvertising=word of mouth, the invisible and most valuable user generated advertising distribution platform on the planet. I was impressed with the new capabilities of the revised vator site. I was able to go in and change my account settings to better profile my video. Hopefully we will see a live chat box.
